The Secret is in the Mix
Every Tonic contains its own perfectly balanced mix of auditory healthcare techniques that have been carefully selected and combined to have the intended effect on the user.
Each technique has its own easily recognisable icon, so you can easily see exactly what is in each Tonic:
Binaural Beats
Binaural Beats can be seen as a sort of trigger for synchronizing brainwaves to bring about a desired mental state.
This process – Auditory Bilateral Stimulation or ABLS for short – is the rhythmic alternation of sonic activation between the left and the right brain hemispheres, resulting in an energy transfer called „Brainwave Entrainment”.
Binaural Beats are proven to be able to induce a specific positive effect. They do this by creating signals at the same frequency as the brainwaves of the desired mental state, causing them to resonate and to synchronize. In practice, a tone is played over headphones and tuned slightly differently in each ear. The difference between the two tones generates the so-called “beat” which causes a measurable change in brain activity.
Example of Binaural Beats
ASMR
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response
ASMR has been widely reported to relieve insomnia, anxiety or panic attacks, despite the image it has of erotic whispering and virtual shampoo sessions, sometimes referred to as Mind Massage, ASMR uses a palette of binaural sonic triggers consisting of tapping, scratching and whispering to generate a sensation of tingling or goose bumps, which is commonly found to be relaxing.
As opposed to the short chill that can be experienced through music, ASMR can induce a long-lasting pleasant sensation, which probably explains why it is used by millions.

Isochronic Tones
Isochronic Tones are an effective method of “Brainwave Entrainment” using Sonic Pulses.
These are short sounds which are repeated in quick succession, equally spaced and of equal length and volume. The speed is dependent on the target frequency.
For relaxation, for example, both brain hemispheres must be synchronised to the Alpha frequency, which is around ten Hz. This means to induce entrainment, the impulse signal must be repeated ten times per second.

Music
We all know that music can influence our mood and emotions. It can soothe and comfort us and press just the right buttons to make us feel happy, sad, relaxed, or even excited
Music has the power to transport us back to our childhood within seconds or to put us on an emotional rollercoaster ride. It can even have a positive effect on our health and our capacity for learning.
SonicTonic uses music to exert a specific influence on the mind and as a vehicle for transporting other mind-changing techniques within the framework of Receptive Sound Therapy.
Example of Music
Autosuggestion
Try repeating to yourself: “I will fail. I am a bluff. I am a loser” and you will realize just how powerful your thoughts can be.
Autosuggestion uses spoken repetitive affirmations to train the subconscious mind and positively influence the way a person thinks, perceives or believes. As well as implementing the power of positive thinking, it builds on such techniques as Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Autogenic Training, Active Imagination and other tried and tested psychological methods.

Solfeggio Harmonics
Solfeggio Harmonics are ancient frequencies and tuning methods, which are reputed to have special properties.
Specific frequencies, such as the 528Hz DNA frequency, are used to address certain health conditions or the imbalances of individual organs. Special tuning forks are used in Vibrational Sound Therapy to provides relief from pain, anxiety, insomnia and to induce a feeling of harmony and well-being. There are books available which illuminate this approach to Sound Healing based on clinical experience.
